GUEST SPEAKER - PADRAIC FISHER   'THE BOLLARD PROJECT: PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE'
Join the friends in the large meeting room at the Geelong Botanic Gardens to hear guest speaker Padraic Fisher, ex Director of the National Wool Museum, talk about the Bollard Project. The Bollards are an iconic part of the Geelong Waterfront. Reclaimed timber pier pylons have been transformed into remarkable works of art by artist Jan Mitchell from 1995. The Bollards feature 48 sites with more than 100 bollards between Rippleside Park and Limeburner's Point. Come and hear about the City of Geelongs plans to move into a new phase for these beloved icons.

The presentation will be preceeded by a light supper.
